Quick question, the clock and weather widget that comes with vivo always shows dual zone. I have not been able to change that. Am I missing something?

PS, I have the international version.
Hi. I have the same version & had the same thing. Its a widget like on many other phones just remove it & replace with another clock widget of your choice from the play store

After latest software update Vivo has added LDAC support to Chinese version.(1.20.5):good:

So it wasn’t hardware related restrictions that Vivo support said after several communication with them but software related as from beginning said to them.

So good better late than never Vivo implemented LDAC support.

Let’s see if with future update see AOD improvement as current implementation lacks fundamental as unlimited third party app notifications.

Probably because the Chinese firmware is way more aggressive towards apps. I was initially sent a Chinese version by a merchant, then got the Global one, and the Chinese one would constantly be closing apps and shutting off their ability to access data if it even so much suspected them as being a drain. So far the Global version is much more in line with other mainline Android phones, where it'll allow apps to run in the background without you having to tinker with several different menus. That may come at the cost of certain benchmark scores, but it makes the phone SO MUCH more usable and enjoyable.
I can imagine a big difference in battery life though...I support this idea problem is apps seem to shutdown even if you whitelist them that is the problem..mostly video apps... like plex and youtube is the problem.

Folks, my Global Rom Nex S is running on the latest firmware 1.8.10. Is LDAC already supported? If yes, how do I enable LDAC on the Nex S to use with my Sony WH 1000XM3? Thanks

On Chinese version you don’t have to do anything.
Just connect your Bluetooth headset and open Sony Headphones app and you will see LDAC mention at main screen at app.

I assume same way works to global version.

Mine is still showing as aptx HD in the Sony app when connected to the WH 1000XM3. Will take it that LDAC is still not supported with the latest firmware.

Sigh... We're almost 2 months behind as the Chinese firmware with LDAC support was released in mid October...

On my global rom 1.8.10 LDAC is in the developer settings, and I can change it to anything I want. But once I leave the settings, every Bluetooth setting resets to default. Anything I forget or do wrong?

Look into settings while you are using the headphones, it switches automatically for the supported codec.

Cheers

Yes, you're bright, I just checked. So it aren't really settings one can change, but simply showing what the device sets itself to depending on what earphones you connect? Not that I complain, because I really don't know anything about codecs, but the sound on my earbuds is great!

Thanks! ;)
