Im currently using T-Zones ($5/mo unlimited data plan) with my galaxy Nexus.... I know that before, T-Zones worked for awhile on the HTC Nexus S until T-Mobile started selling it.

Im wondering who else is getting a Nexus 4 with the hopes that T-Zones will work for it.

Is there a data cap? Did you have to purchase the plan using a "dumb" phone? I can't imagine they allow you to download more than 5GB a month.

its a grandfathered plan that i had with an old nokia dumbphone back in 2002.... there is no data cap with t-zones, i have used it with every one of my phones since then: iphone 2g, nexus one, nexus s, htc HD2, htc sensation (asian version), iphone4, galaxy nexus

I've used Tzones on my galaxy nexus, and get average speeds of 8mbps down & 2mbps up, and I've used a little over 100 GB in one billing cycle once, no one said anything so far

hope I don't jinx myself now, lol

T-zones is a grandfather data plan on T-mobile that will allow you to use unlimited data on their network. T-zones will usually work with unbranded T-mobile phones or phones that T-mobile doesn't sale. (some exceptions) There have been a few users over at Howardforums in the the T-zones thread that confirmed T-zones works on the Nexus 4, but it's early. T-zones worked on the Nexus S for about week or two before everybody started getting the up-sell message.

Oh ****! How the F-?
I am tethering netflix everyday on my galaxy nexus and barely hit the 24GB mark. I have 10 days left on my biling cycle.
How the hell did you hit 100GB?
Believe me, I really try to abuse my $20 unlimited/nonthrottle and still can't consume nearly as much data as you are.

LOL tzones. I actually had that until about 3 weeks ago and changed my plan to get a cheaper rate (the grandfathered tzones played hell with me changing my phone/voice options)

It makes me laugh that roughly 10 years? later? people still hang on to their $2.99 tzones.

With data being so expensive nobody wants to let Tzones go.

As of Jan, 7th, 2013, tzone/web2go ($6/$10) still works on the Nexus 4 out of the box. - I bought it straight from Google Playstore, so it's non-branded. Don't know if that makes a difference.

As of today, mine stopped working, i have the google unbranded nexus for maybe a year or less have had tzones since day one with no configuration changes, today sometime mid day i started getting a network icon on the top left with ? above it, any site i try to go to sends me to a upsell page.

Are there any settings i can manually configure or change to get this back?

Seems to work on my end, but I've only had the N4 for a day. On the other hand, it worked with my Galaxy Nexus for 6 months (still works, but I replaced it with the N4), worked on my Nexus S for over a year, and on my Nexus One until I replaced it. However, I know people with the same phones for whom it started redirecting to the upsell page rather quickly. It almost seems random.

I hope that it still works in a week or two. If not, I'm going to a certain unnamed MVNO that uses T-Mobile. :p
