I wanted to share a short story about an incident last night and about how tough this little tablet is.

Last night I was heading out to get pizza with my daughter. I figured I'd bring my N7 so that she would have something to do while we wait. As I strapped her into her car seat, I set my N7 on the top of the car. I'm sure you can imagine what happened next... Not only did it fall off the car at highway speed, it was raining quite heavily. After realizing my mistake I stopped and started searching the side of the highway. After about an hour of searching I found it in the ditch. Luckily, the property owner had mowed the grass. I picked it up and hit the power button. Somehow it had survived hitting the pavement and bouncing several times with just some minor scuffing on the corners. The screen was completely unaffected, and the rain seemed to just clean it off a little.

Amazing little device...

JK, Cool Story Bro. The N7 is a touch little cookie. My son managed to crack his screen by rolling around with it and a metal airplane toy. But mine is going strong. I've dropped it a few times and don't have any scuffs that I can see. I have mine in a Portenzo book case though so it's well protected.

Wish me some if that luck! Just got mine today, and the protective case won't be here till next week. The N7 arrived just after I had added more cracks to my Galaxy S3. I've been carrying this thing around with both hands like it's made of eggshells.

Ha! When I clicked on this I figured this was just another frustrated owner that broke Thiers by setting it on top of a feather pillow and breathing on it funny. Glad to hear yours survived.

Sent from my second nexus.

Lol I used to throw my Motorola XPRT at stuff just for fun. That thing is invincible.

I had a buddy that had a Motorola citrus that he ran over with a tractor and it still worked. Old moto phones just didn't quit.

That's crazy. I love Moto phones but man the updates and bootloaders are horrendous.
