The only reason i would buy it is because i love it. It is part of my heart right now.
My wife is a part of my heart, I'd say a bigger part of it.
My daughter has her corner in it, and my parents, and my friends.

My phone, as my bike, is a piece of machinery. I can like it more or less, but I don't grow attached to it. If it breaks - I'll pity the money lost, and get another. If it annoys me and I have enough $$ - I'll sell it and get another. Nexus was good, it served me well for a year, but it annoyed me a bit too much :) The unpredictable touchscreen and lack of proper Sense ROMs finally got to me. And I could live with MIUI, if the touchscreen was ok. But it can just drive one nuts.
For comparison, when playing today with newer devices than my MT4G, I don't feel any urge to upgrade. Nothing really worthy in Sense 3.6, and nothing really missing on my phone. I'd probably live well with Desire, too. So it leaves the crappy touchscreen to blame - everything else can be dealt with.

YEah, your right mate. It just is that this is the only cellphone in years that i actually liked. But i should have (and could have) got a desire instead. But the desire does not have led notifications, and i really needed those (coming from windows mobile)

I really like this phone because it has aged really well. It still looks and works decently compared to current new phones. And it can run ICS.

I also bought a Galaxy Nexus, but I still switch out the SIM from time to time and use my Nexus One. It runs like a champ with Medroid 7.1 and for most applications I like the smaller screen.
