Most likely somebody stole it from a display and thats why there is no back cover. Happens a lot.

just a reminder.

the cover will not be cheap as it will need to have the NFC antenna on it. else you can't use the NFC.

i believe this is the set-back for all other case manufacturer just to jump in a make one.

Do u have best buys black tie protection plan? If so u can call best buy an tell them u cracked ur battery cover or something an theyll send u a new one. Thats what i did

How was dealing with the Geek Squad reps? Did they interrogate you and give you hard time? Were they the ones that suggested that they'll just send you a new or did you have to mention it? Also, did y'all get batteries from them too?
