if you dirty flash, does it upgrade the firmware from 12.0.3 to 12.0.4?Just dirty flash it
Don't think so, because you're not updating MIUI but rather Arrow OS. There's no need to use MIUI anymore because the kernel source is in this rom.if you dirty flash, does it upgrade the firmware from 12.0.3 to 12.0.4?
Which build are you on? It wont open for me. Almost all gcams wont work
Vibration on end of the list is a MIUI thing, which I didn't like at first because it was confusing but then you kinda get used to itAlso it would be amazing if the devs could include haptic feedback similar to stock MIUI. (Vibrating when it gets to end of list, vibrations for back when using gestures) Don't know if the devs accept requests.![]()

Where can I find flashing instructions? And do I have to reflash the kernel after every OTA?Been running ArrowOS 11 for a week now, no complaints at all! It's the perfect ROM. I've also flashed F1xy Kernel for slightly improved performance & security fixes included in the newer Linux kernels.
If you have a custom ROM, just flash the kernel using TWRP/OrangeFox, clean Catch and Dalvik, reboot to system and enjoyWhere can I find flashing instructions? And do I have to reflash the kernel after every OTA?
ThanksIf you have a custom ROM, just flash the kernel using TWRP/OrangeFox, clean Catch and Dalvik, reboot to system and enjoyNo need to reflash the kernel after every OTA....I guess.
You do need to flash kernel after each update to the rom as the rom installs it's own custom kernel (kerminator, I think). If you have a custom ROM, just flash the kernel using TWRP/OrangeFox, clean Catch and Dalvik, reboot to system and enjoyNo need to reflash the kernel after every OTA....I guess.
If you flash custom ROM for the first time/you flash a custom ROM over an existing one, no need to remove security measures because you will do a Format data after the flash that will remove any encryption anyway.ThanksAlso how does encyption work? Do I have to remove my lock screen everytime I flash something or is there a decrypt zip or firmware I have to flash beforehand?
@ganesh varma Can you add instructions on how to flash the ROM in the first post? I think that would help the newcomers0. Remove any fingerprint, PIN or password in MIUI
1. Unlock the bootloader
2. Transfer ROM to internal storage
3. install recovery
4. flash ROM
5. Do a data wipe in recovery (you have to say yes to confirm in recovery, cant recall the exact name)
6. Reboot, wait and enjoy
