no 4g on aosp roms

hey guys, had an issue on my wifes phone , no lte at all, when i did the lte on/off when it gave me the list the best i could do was cdma (prl) i was on tshed 1.6 at the time. then i went back to 2.11.605.19 bone stock through hboot and it fixed my problem. then i tried jellyblur (which is tshed based) but had the same issue. is this a known rom issue? or is it an aosp thing? any help would be appreciated.

Try going into settings, mobile networks, network mode and make sure LTE/CDMA/EvDo is checked.

I appreciate the response. I checked there first. It gave me the option. And it was checked correctly. But when I did *#*#4636#*#* it only gave the CDMA option
