No HDMI to USB-C because no VESA DisplayPort Alternate Mode, right?

I assume like the original pixel, it does not have VESA DisplayPort Alternate Mode, so there are no wired options for getting video out of a pixel 2?

oddly enuff I found an adapter here, though I do not think it will work with the pixel 2's
