Update : The phone turned-off because of low battery (i didn't notice this, as i was busy with my work). I charged the battery and when i turned-on, it started showing the mobile signal and IMEI/baseband. Not sure how it came again, But it went away again after a day....

What could be the reason??, the issue looks to be intermittent. But i cannot use this as a primary phone as the imei and baseband can go away anytime.

Seems like a software issue. Is it running stock firmware?

Is your problem solved? It just so happens that I experienced exactly like you, can you tell me how to solve this kind of problem?"

Hello,
My sisters Poco F3 just randomly lost its IMEI and Serial Numbers.
Her phone is stock and has not been tampered with.
when emailing Xiaomi support they asked to provide those numbers which should be on the box but she no longer has the box, and the receipt provides no information.

Is there another way to get either numbers?
does the service provider keep a log of the IMEI numbers?
Any help will be appreciated

You can try logging into google "find my device" app through same google account of her , click the device icon there it will show both imei's

Thank you so much!
It only showed one, but she only has one sim connected to it. Hopefully Xiaomi can now get this sorted
try draining your device battery fully untill it is switched off , then let it rest for a moment , charge it and turn on after half an hour and see if imei is back ,
or visit the service centre and tell them to flash it through EDL with the latest miui ;)

what software? This is hardware fault 100000%

Most likely the modem chip got detached... it requires resoldering if that's the case - reflow is another option, but I wouldn't even bother with ( It's gonna work temporarily at best , then it'll detach again )

That would explain why it suddenly stopped working altogether...

If under warranty send it over... if not rip , the phone is not even worth 100$ on the 2nd hand market , keep that in mind

No sim detected/unknown imei/unknown baseband seems to be fixed with FW 14.0.7
