No love for the P30 lite?

It might just be a little difficult rooting the device, since unlocking the bootloader is no longer freely available from Huawei. But I would love to have a subforum for this amazing device [emoji16]

P30 Lite - oeminfo for dual sim

Hi all,

I have the P30 Lite C431 from EE UK. Anyone know how to rebrand that as the C432 Europe so that I can get the second sim working? I have the P10 Lite working with Dual sim which is now getting old and slow - this is designed to replace that. If someone can guide me how to reflash it - it would be much appreciated. I've managed to get full Firmware dumps for the P30 lite Russia and India phones - just need to flash the correct model number so that I can apply it.

any help would be appreciated.

I Have the same phone but mine is locked to one sim and its really sad. I looked all over the net for even a stock rom but i cant find anything. If you know where i can get the stock rom please advise i would really appriciate it.

1. General performance is high enough for a specific section.
2. As start to bootloader problem - in my opinion - see in developer options OEM unlock CAN BE SET.
3. my only problem - after enroling fingerprint, whatever I do, fingerprint leads to pattern. Coming from Axon7, removing locksettings db solve the problem - in this case...any solution?

I honestly doubt that, because other Lite devices have their own forums, even though they can't unlock the bootloader either.

The Mate 30 Lite has its own forum now too, but the P30 Lite doesn't.

So, untill bootloder craked, is there a way to use fingerprint ONLY? Am I missing something? After enrolling, fingerprint works...but always to pattern screen - not directly to screen unlock.
Is there a setting I miss?

Enable PIN and Fingerprint and fingerprint should unlock the device on it's own

Make sure that Fingerprint ID is set to unlock your device.

Go to Settings > Security and privacy > Fingerprint ID > Fingerprint management, and select the first option.

Thank you for your answers. Fingerprint management/change unlock method/pattern/use fingerprint to unlock/enroling fingerprint/rename. Screen off. Fingerprint recognised BUT leads to pattern unlock. Fingerpring Does Not directly unlock the phone-I have to use pattern.

Huawei makes good phones but locking all bootloader unlocking options sucks
