No more native call recorder for Note 20 Ultra 5G?

Hello,

I successfully used this method to unlock the native call recorder on Note 9 and Note 10+ (a simple factory reset with a thai sim card in the phone).
But it doesn't work on Note 20 Ultra 5G
Any ideas if it's still possible to unlock the native call recorder somehow?

CSC INS has native call recording. I dunno if your phone's firmware works with the CSC code *#272*IMEI# - this code does not work on ALL firmware.

CSC INS has native call recording. I dunno if your phone's firmware works with the CSC code *#272*IMEI# - this code does not work on ALL firmware.

Mine doesn't work with this code I did try to install INS with Odin but I didn't get the native call recording. I guess CSC didn't change. Any other option? or do you know how to change the CSC on Note 20 Ultra?

Unfortunately not all OXM firmware works with the CSC code. I can only confirm that the Note 20's from the Philippines with GLB and XTC CSC can change the code via *#272*IMEI#.

I just bought the unlocked US version. Inserted Indian SIM card but recording option doesn’t come up. In my note 10+ India version native call recorder is there.

Is your phone model N986B/DS? I found a way to change the CSC. Check this thread and then you can change your CSC to INS to get native call recording.

Yes, it's possible (while unrooted).
But not a perfect solution, because:

- Bluetooth calls are silent
- No seamless integration with phone/caller app.

I am planning buying this phone, so before it's too late, for which market should it be ? Or even better can you give me model name I can select exact model ?
