No need to tether Wifi... Bluetooth tether works

Bluetooth tethering works, wifi works, only USB fails for me. There really is no reason to buy a data plan for your tablet

I'll second that. My landline has gone t**s up. Typing this tethered to my Windows HTC Touch HD over bluetooth. Although slow.

Stock ASUS Transformer
Rooted G2 running CM 7.03
Wireless tether for rootusers 2.0.7

My strategy for battery life now is going to be to underclock the phone as much as i can while tethered.

I completely agree. I know that $599 is pretty steep but it sounds like a bargain when you think some people paid closer to $800 for one with 3G and no contract.
