No Notification Sounds

OK. So I was able to get use of a Windows 10 Laptop. I've installed the LG drivers and ADB App Control is now recognizing my phone. Could you please walk me through how to prevent Android from installing OS updates? Preferably I'd rather it didn't even check.
Help is greatly appreciated.
EDIT: There were 2 applications called Software Update, and I've disabled them both. Is this correct? I haven't allowed my new phone to access the internet yet because I don't want it checking for updates.

You also need to disable (uninstall) OTA as well as firmware updates from the installed options. Since you are not using T-Mobile, uninstall every T-MOBILE apps.
