Hi guys,
After a couple of week i broke my pixel 6 pro glass and replace alone the screen, but unfortunately when i comes to site
https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/udfps the site cannot install the software calibration (just downloaded).
Now i can try with another firmware update (i started with the last update) maybe we need a previous version?
Any suggest for me?
Thank u community
Hi!
TL;DR: Besides all the rest I wrote below, Googling provided the information you're looking for with
this search. The top search result, and XDA article: "Pixel 6’s fingerprint scanner calibration tool is failing for some users". A few more details in that XDA article.
- I'm sorry to hear your screen broke.
- This isn't really the appropriate thread for this, as this thread is only regarding the December firmware update, which Google had "removed" the links after some bugs were discovered.
In the future, you can perform a similar search such as demonstrated below to find a relevant thread (you can try with or without "Search titles only" checked - you might find some non-fingerprint threads where someone mentions, but either way, they'd likely be a more appropriate thread than this one. Please continue this discussion in one of those threads:
- I do believe I remember reading in this section someone who reported something similar regarding the online fingerprint calibration tool not working for the P6P at this time. I don't remember which particular thread it was mentioned, nor by who, or if it was even a fingerprint-specific thread.
In the end, you may have to contact Google to find out what to do, but perhaps someone in one of the fingerprint threads you find through the search above will have a better idea.
Good luck!
