No RAZR 2022

Say what you want, but after switching to the EU rom I miss a few of the Chinese features. For one " intergrated visual voicemail" in the phone app. and the voicemail composing feature where you can make different messages and switch between them. I was using the chinese one to deter random sales calls. I wonder If i can put the CN phone app into the EU ROM. Anyones elses Phone app not showing a voicemail? ( Tmobile here in the US) 512GB variant, Kind of a PITA that this is STILL a thing in late 2022.

Unfortunatelly the reffering thread (Convert your Moto x30 Pro (CN) to Edge 30 Ultra (EU) is a bit cryptic to me.
Does someone have a more detailed instruction.
Especially I wonder about this points:
1. Basically al that is in 02. Make a backup of ALL partitions on your device (Optional but RECOMMENDED)
- Copy the boot.img to your devic
- o your PC and flash it Flash with what sofware? Minimal ADB?
- the listed code can be copied like this in CMD?
Can 02.Make a backup be skipped anyway?

2. Boot your phone into fastboot how do you boot into fastboot on the Razr2022?

I would follow the guide for the other phone but obviously use the ROM for the RAZR, the updates should work if you follow the guide exactly.

Im also able to confirm that Relocking the bootloader is possible and relatively simple. still no OTAs since october for eu rom ..

So you converted from cn to EU and relocked the bootloader? Not sure that's wise anyhow my RAZR screen has died probably from cold weather either way the quality isn't there

I click add and it asks to scan QR code and camera opens, I have no QR code so can't be 100%, seems it would work

No it doesn’t download esim after qr scan. It gets stuck on checking network info after successful scan. Seems the hardware is missing to save the esim data. Anyway working on the physical sim only.

Sorry, to confirm you went from Razr 2022 Motorola CN ROM to Motorola EU Rom and were able to relock the bootloader without issue? I'm looking to do the same as I need dont need root and want mdm to function correctly. Yikes! I had the 5 g razr but didnt have it long enough to get that far. hopefully that doesnt happen but Im starting to see them pop up more and more on Ebay, so if it fails ill get another.

Yes I was able to lock the bootloader with no issues... just using a typical " lock oem bootloader script" actually thats the least of my concerns..... I take no responsibility for your device though. because on the flipside I had hell trying to to get EU rom to boot up once installed... so different issues all togeher.

My reasoing was the OTA security updates( which BTW they are still on October from what I see) so relocking yeilded an empty bag of nothing.

NOW, Im trying to unF$%^ this situation with T-mobile and the lack of intergrated visual voicemail. and trying to get the CN dialer ( or any dialer with similar features) back. I think EU Rom is blocking me from installing any of the MOTO UI indian or Chinese variants

Ah well so far so good... fingers crossed, If it bricks itll be for some other dumbness I did like right now trying to uninstall the Android dialer... this thing is on the razors edge ( pun alert ) of anything we have here in the states... its almost ridiculous... so if i can get it dialed in, Ill be happy but Im not exactly ed snowden, so we will see

I can't I just read through the Motorola threads, maybe it's not the case anymore can you post the steps you took. At this stage bricked phone is better than what I have ATM screen unresponsive and half missing.

Thanks mate. I've got weird MDM issues tied up with Google device identifiers that make me think the Chinese rom is causing problems. Some other weirdness around contact sync that I fixed and Google wallet vs android wallet constantly fighting to be the default that makes me want to try a EU Rom. But I need it all 'intact' once flashed so payment and mdm/workspace one works.
