3) Change the software channel

Just need to run this command “.\fastboot oem config carrier reteu”

IMPORTANT: Choose a channel that has OTA updates, like RETEU

Updated software channel list

ATTMX = AT&T Mexico
BELLCA = Bell Canada
MOVLA = Movistar Latin America
MSTLA = Movistar Latin America
MSTCL = Movistar Colombia
ORANGE = Orange (France?)

I have installed a new rom and changed to RETEU but still I couldn't add an esim. After scanning the barcode, it keeps loading and nothing happens.

Have anyone managed to configure the esim?

Same problem on reteu. Only tried it once and assumed it was just a dodgy provider as it was a holiday esim. Am about to try again in next day or two with different provider so will let you know. This is the only problem encountered so far after reflashing and locking bootloader.

BTW, it was the same behavior when I bought it from Ali Express and was unlocked by the seller.

I changed to RETAIL and I don't use the eSim. If I have the opportunity, I will test an eSIM.
Remember that the device is not dual chip. If using a SIM CARD, the e-sim will not enable.

Whoa, really? Thanks. I thought one physical and one esim? Got a link to any docs on this? I had no clue.

I have changed to Retail too. I removed the physical sim, installed retail rom, and then tried to register the esim, but same issue.

I just bought the motorola XT2251-1 Europe version and using it on tmobile prepaid but i get no signal in certain areas.

I have tried reloading firmware with same results. Tried esim and physical sim, nothing.

Could tmobile prepaid be the issue?

Any advice?

did everything, convert a Chinese version to eu,change to retail eu ,lock again the baseband, everything works except esim function.
what to change ? maybe flash another firmware?
seems google sim manager cannot locate the esim function.also the eid is missing from the phone.maybe this is the problem?
