No Remote Connection Since Update Availabilty

So I received a replacement Gear S due to the update blowing out the GPS. So obviously I didn't install it on my new device. But since I have had the update icon in the status bar my gear has no longer connected remotely. Anyone else NOT install the update but still have remote connectivity?

I take it back. I restarted both devices (Gear S and Note Edge) and it is connecting now. I used to be able to get it to reconnect by restarting just the Gear S, but maybe its unique to this new device. Who knows.

Actually now it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every few minutes.
