After move to /system/priv-app/LGV10Cam, you must install the App again as a normal App.

After that all works perfectly.
i created a folder name same as app... app gave permisson... folder i gave permissons.. and i didnt need to install. it was there after reboot. but switching to front camera FC.

Thats sad...
I know but unfortunately it needs the LG Camera APIs that only LG can access I believe. I have literally just come back to stock base from CM today just to get the camera back (albeit at the expense of drastically reduced battery life :( wish there was a middle ground).

Yes it's still there and runs but need to install it too, especially to fix front camera FC.
okey made it work.. this is what i did.
1. created a folder in system/private-app i named it v10
2. i gave permission to folders.. just copy the same permissions as the other folders. but it should be like this
see pic 1

3. then i copied the camera apk to the folder v10
4. i renamed the apk to lgcamerav10-v4.apk and copied the named..
5 i added permisson 644

see pic 2

6. then renamed the folder same as the apk.. must be same if capital letters wer used then it must be the same..

then i rebooted phone..

7.. installed normal apk..
8. i saw that the new apk was updated into a user app.. i used linkd2sd to see.. then using link2sd i used option
convert update into system app. then i rebooted.
camera front no longer forclosures.. and it saves to external sd card
thank for the helps and the dev :good:

I'm using it as a system app with no FC and SD Card saving. What I did was:

- Using "Uninstaller Pro": Backup original G4 Camera, Disabled original G4 Camera and Uninstalled original G4 Camera
- Installed V10 Camera APK
- Using "Uninstaller Pro": Used "To System APP" function on V10 Camera
- Rebooted
- Installed V10 Camera APK as user app again

and everything works including front face camera and SD Card saves.

With it uninstalled, what happens to the lockscreen camera slider?

It's removed. But it can be added manually in settings. Double click in com down with screen off is lost and didn't had the time to check for a solution yet.
I tried using Tweakbox to fix the double vol down but it requires unlocking the phone.

When I tried to reinstall the stock camera app, I can't get it to save to sd card. So a warning to all.

The only other problem is not being able to silence the video shutter on the v10 camera.

I have app installed as system with no issues however when I open it, it takes a good 10 seconds before it becomes responsive and recognises my button presses, including back etc to exit. Anybody else experienced this delay?

Happened once. Don't remember if I wiped cache and app data or dalvik/cache on recovery. But never happened again.
