I would say it's very likely that G4 will be updated to Nougat... All lg flagships gets 2 major updates and in G3 case maybe even 3. I know that G4 failed but still a lot of people are using this phone. LG can check it easily. If they do not release nougat then **** them and I'm back with Samsung. At least I get more than 1 update there not even mentioning monthly security patches

My S3 went whole road from 4.0 to 4.4.4(through 4.0.3 4.0.4 4.1.1 4.1.2 4.2.1 4.2.2 4.3 4.4.4) so it's a lot. It was at least 4 major updates and few minor. And I was upset why Samsung didn't release 5.0... While LG struggles to update 1 year phone

RAW mode in LGG5 Se .. Diff phone but maybe quick fix ?

App works like a charm without root (duh)
After I install it, it works perfectly for photos ( Video mode is not working for some reason the videos are not recorded or are unplayable, and the MODE option causes FC)
But switching to manual mode in camera I only see the JPG option and its grayed out,

Sooo is there a way to enable DNG mode in the camera app ? .. Apparently LG removed the DNG support for the LG G5se edition ... but its only software restriction and not hardware .. I know this since other apps can save photos in RAW mode .. I just dont like the UI or they are slow ... also if I install the app Camera2 Probe it states that the phone is capable of this ..

try freedcam and see if it shoots in raw mode. its in the playstore has alot of features.

Isn't it that you can't shot videos in raw format? I think it only works with images

How can I force this application to save videos and photos to the SD card? I've made this as the system app via Titanium backup but I am not still able to save to the SD.

@yener90 thanks for the great mod, but this camera doesn"t work on nougat. Can you try to port v20 cam which works on nougat? Please.

V20 uses different hardware, so a camera port is not possible.

What device are you on? This should only work on stock based LGs.

If it's your Sony Xperia, it won't work unfortunately.

Is it really that hard to use the search bar and Google Search? Your question has been answered around a 100 times on the internet and a couple of times in this thread. It will never ever work on any Custom ROM that isn't based on the LG Stock ROM. So short answer no.
