I tried to record a video (UHD,Hi-bps,30fps) on the exFat memory card. I've got about 8,5min and 3,99GB size file. Also there's no problem to copy 5GB file to phone internal memory so probably there's no any limitation from file system side. Anyway IMO picture quality of G4 is still poor and it can't replace real camera, so I would never use it for long footage.Good luck to you mate.
You've been informed as to why this cannot happen, it is on you to make it work for you then.

All mention the filesize limitation... unfortunately, it looks like those devices are external sdcards. Maybe try seeing if you can store your video on your exFat or NTFS formatted external sd card.
Looks like it is a config option for kernel mounting the the devices for storage
https://source.android.com/devices/storage/config-example
It's also not up to the dev/modder of this app to configure the end-users devices to break this 4G limit. That will have to fall on the Rom/Kernel developers to do... however, I did find a possible workaround which I am unwilling to try
And, the reason why I keep mentioning Fat32, is because of the wide use of it still across multiple devices... yes, internally our nand is ext4 formatted (for the most part... tho some do have f2fs formatted), and yes, the file size limitation of 4G is obvious for fat32.
xda rule post in english.Uygulama harika ancak 60fps de kalite düşüyor acaba bunu yükseltmek mümkün mü?
Emeğinize sağlık.
