The same for me, no way works >:/ 10.0.5.HD01BA
Hi kemoti,

I am using 10.0.5 and this works fine
open command prompt as admin
browse to ADB folder

Type in
adb shell
then
pm grant net.jroot3d.joneplustools android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS

That should do the trick also make sure you have Joneplus app installed and also have "USB Debugging" enabled in Dev mode.

Thanks

Will the native call recording still work (after activation as per OP instructions) if the JonePlus app is then un-installed?

The latest version jOnePlus app activates native call recording in a rooted OP7T Pro out-of-the-box - No need for adb shell commands etc.
Tested & works fine.

I'd like to add that to get joneplus tools to autostart at reboot

Don't forget to set the app to "don't optimize" from settings/battery/battery optimization

BUT IT DOESNT WORK AFTER REBOOT

I opened JOnePlus Tools and I see that Call recording settings are set on

After I close JOnePlus Tools it works again

What has gone wrong? it's boring set every time call recording in Joneplus tools

Yooooo. I think I figured it out, thanks to a friend for reporting the issue. He changed the system dialer without knowing it would effect this. I tried it and had the same effect.

If you changed your default dialer to something other than the phone (system default) app... the call recording won't work! Change it back, reboot and check again. Yw.

Can you tell me where i can find the recorded calls?
Thank you
You can either find it by going to your file manager and then looking at the record folder.
Or manually search in your file manager by searching for a file with the name of the person you call recorded
Or if you have the stock voice recorder app you find it there by scrolling right.

I had this same issue until I realized i downloaded the Linux version of ADB on my Windows computer from the 'forum-xda.developers" site and unzipped it. Once I downloaded the Windows version this worked fine. The linux version does not have an .exe file type on the adb file.
