Hey guys I hope that I don't get beat up too bad for asking.. but i've searched and tried multiple things all with the same result.
I have a BL unlocked VZW Moto X 1060 running Cricket/Aio service. I'm using Philz Touch as a recovery currently.
My problem is that anytime I use a non-stock based rom I have an issue with my SMS messages failing immediately when trying to send them. I can receive them just fine. I've tried every rom in the moto rom list and the only non-stock based rom that works is Dirty Unicorns. I've tried the GSM fix for VZW phones found in a thread aimed at cm11 users. Ive tried changing my phone number attached to my sim but that has failed as well. The only things i've noticed between rom changes is that the roms that work show no number at all for my phone number under the phone info in settings (*#4636). The CM based roms read "unknown" for phone number and cannot be edited by root sim editor. I hope this wasn't too confusing. Can anyone point out what i'm doing wrong?
