I thought it would be more appropriate to poast this over here in case anyone else has the same issue.
So, I just got a SIM card from t-Mobile for a new nexus 4. The phone works fine with headsets, on speakerphone, etc., but there is no audio coming from the earpiece during calls. I'm running stock 4.3 right now, but see below:
Things I've tried so far:
1. Used SoundAbout to force the audio to the earpiece and disable headphone detection
2. Reverted back to 4.2.2, tried Cyanogenmod, tried Paranoid Android
3. Tried three different radios: .84, .48 and .33
4. I also tried the two hybrid radios posted in the general forum which are supposed to include T-Mo audio fixes.
None of this makes and difference. No sound form the earpiece during calls. Period.
Is there anything else I can do or is this an RMA at this point?
