No volume control when playing music to group

If I play music to one device, my phone has volume for the music in notifications.

When I'm playing to a Group though, there's no volume unless I go to each device in home one at a time.

Has anyone discovered a workaround for this?

On a related note... It's playing from Google Music supposedly... Yet when I go into Music... It's stopped and isn't controlling the music being played in the group.

I saw that I can play to a group using one Google home and one Bluetooth speaker. I've been trying that but no luck so far. Do you have a similar set up ?
