So i'm fairly new in these things (custom ROMs and such), and recently installed Hashcode's cyanogen mod from here.

After failing the first time and temporarily bricking my kindle (after making the stupid decision to wipe all my data), I luckily managed to get the rom into the data folder and flashed it from there with TWRP. So now i've got the mod working, but for some reason, the wifi isn't working. I try to turn it on but it doesn't seem to be detecting anything.

Anyway, i've searched around that this problem does tend to happen with certain ROMs, and I wanted to know if this is a current limitation of the unofficial release. I'd post in the other thread, but i'm a new member ,etc. so I thought i'd try my luck here :)

I'm sure Hashcode himself would help you if you joined the freenode irc channel, #kindlefire-dev or #kf2-dev . All you have to do is show up and ask for help.
