No wifi calling in Verizon

I installed the log kit and activated wifi calling. On sim 2 Google Fi it works. On sim 1 Verizon, I can select it. When I turn it on, it says "calling preference off" whether I select "call over wifi" or "call over mobile" As soon as I leave the sim settings page, wifi calling turns itself off?

Anyone else having this problem?

Yep, same EXACT problem. Frustrating.

Basically, VZW hasn't authorized WI-FI calling on the 7 series and it doesn't appear they plan to now that they are selling a VZW branded 8
