Extract navbar zip and copy framework-res.apk to /system/framework/ and set permission to 644

Hoping someone here can help... A few posts back there was discussion about the correct modem being used for nougat which got me thinking about updating my modem..

I believe I have an mm modem on my G920F and have been trying to find the nougat update for my region (being Ireland). So far all I can find is Germany, Italy, Spain and Bulgaria. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me:
1. Can I back up my existing modem in case I mess up the flash of a new modem?
2. Will one of the above modems be suitable for my region (I. E. Could I just use the German modem here in Ireland)

Download the latest stock firmware for your phone and Odin utility. You can find them here in xda or go to sammobile.com and download them from there.
BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE YOU PROCEED.
Once you have the firmware and the utility downloaded. Put your phone in download Mode (phone off then press and hold Vol down + menu + power) and connect your phone to your computer.
when Odin detects your phone click on AP or PDA.
Select the firmware you downloaded.
leave all settings as is and click on start.
That should wipe everything and restore your phone to stock firmware so make sure you backup.
