Do i need to flash TWRp Patch before installing the rom? or after?

I've got a question- is it possible to flash other ROMs, or revert back to the stock ROM after partitioning?

I've been using this ROM since it emerged, and it has been amazing. Kudos to Alexis for this amazing ROM.

This new update is very unstable to do.
It restores my 2.8 once I restore via TWRP.
TWRP keeps crashing during update now I think its glitches future updates via TWRP.
I'm not sure how to get the repartition bit back to normal so I can flash 2.9 to my phone.

Warning, don't update to 3.0 as its very unstable to update to.
Developer didn't reply to help me...

It kept boot looping for me, it as lucky to get twrp to load again to restore my phone.
Once I did get 3.0 loaded into my phone successfully with a clean install I couldn't restore my apps and profile as it reverted the whole phone back to 2.8.

Instructions are basic and not clear how to do all steps to do a clean install and then restore your apps, settings and profiles.

I now have 2.9 flashed into my phone but twrp keeps crashing, I have partition warning while uploading it and samsung login and galaxy store update DO NOT WORK.

Until there's a simple dirty I stall option for 3.x I'm now stuck with a bugged phone even after following ALL instructions carefully. I even began from the very beginning 4x but only have issues.

Sorry to hear that, but i don't have any issue about this rom after flashing except the bug that in the list.

I recommend you to flash the official latest firmware using odin, then install again the latest twrp then flash noble rom, follow the intruction first before installing noble rom 3.0

just now installed this beautiful rom but my play store is showing " play store not certified "
and i havent installed magistik
please forward me the steps to certify the playstore on s9

and when using safetynet test app , basic integrity and ctc profile match failed

and also NETFLIX app in playstore " this app won't work for your device"

I recommend you to flash the official latest firmware using odin, then install again the latest twrp then flash noble rom, follow the intruction first before installing noble rom 3.0

I got 2.9 working fine, the only think is the samsung account is not working at all and Galaxy store isn't working properly.
It's saying please sign in to keep using.

hi, i wanted to ask anyone using this rom if you can pair bluetooth LE devices (i have a mi band 4 and bluetooth wireless speakers). I don't see the bug in the known issues list.
It seems to be an issue with android 13 with many reports https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/242755161 even some people says that it's already fixed and in comment #226 of that post there is a possible workarround while the final fix is not pushed.

Is bluetooth working with this rom? Does the workarround fix it?

For me it's very important to make the change of rom.

HOW TO INSTALL:
Follow these steps carefully!

In order to prevent TWRP crash that make Magisk not installable, use this TWRP Patched: https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachments/patch_twrp_xxtr-zip.5809969/
If you notice the "failed to mount /omr" and "failed to mount /preload" they are common and not a real issue. You can easily solve this by wiping OMR and Preload in Wipe/Advanced Wipe menu

0. Make a Backup of EFS and of all your stuffs before proceeding
1. Open TWRP by pressing volume up+ bixby + power buttons
2. Press on "Install" and select Universal9810_Repartitioner https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachments/universal9810_repartitioner-zip.5816841/
3. Reboot to TWRP
4. Press on "Wipe" and select "Format Data" then type "yes"
5. Reboot again to TWRP

- It's based on S20 and N10 Lite OneUI 5.0 bases
- It's a unique zip for all variants
- Will be released as BETA because:
- Front camera issue and HDR Force Close are back
- Face unlock doesn't work
- Since space needed has increased now it needs REPARTITION
- Repartition method it's very easy, it has to be done just once and it will erase all your datas
- Repartition allows you to go back to any ROM, so it's not useful just for Noble ROM 3.0

Good afternoon. Of the problems, the Edge side curtain crashes, the standard Samsung applications were not installed during the firmware. Magisk was not installed with the firmware. I think 2.9 was the best and most stable Noble ROM up to date. Thanks.

However, now that 3.0 is out, I'll stick with 2.9 until the bugs that were finally fixed in 2.9 (front face camera for example) are fixed in 3.0 too. I see 3.0 as a huge step backward tbh.

This new TROPEA version works perfectly, apart from the bugs already listed.
The installation was successful without any problem, working Magisk and certified device.

I wanted to respond to @niquedegraaff as developing a stable, fast Rome, etc... is quite difficult and requires a lot of effort and time. The problem is that we want everything immediately, which is not possible.
Instead we should thank all the developers of any rom for their work and their availability

Couple of issues I've come across so far (S9+):

- camera app force closes when switching to the selfie camera
- OSD says "charging" even when the phone's not plugged into a charger/computer
- mic quality seems inferior to that of the factory rom's - had no such issue with the stock rom, so apparently it's software related
