Follow these steps carefully! CLEAN INSTALL ONLY!

If you notice the "failed to mount /omr" and "failed to mount /preload" they are common and not a real issue. You can easily solve this by wiping OMR and Preload in Wipe/Advanced Wipe menu

0. Make a Backup of EFS and of all your stuffs before proceeding
1. Open TWRP by pressing volume up+ bixby + power buttons

4. Press on "Wipe" and select "Format Data" then type "yes"

- It's a unique zip for all variants
- Will be released as BETA because:
- Front camera issue and HDR Force Close are back
- Face unlock doesn't work
- Since space needed has increased now it needs REPARTITION (clean install from NOBLEROM 2.9 or other ROMS)

This forum here lives through volunteers, people will answer if they find the time. A high number of question marks comes across as a bit rude, at least to me. but that's probably just because of the language barrier, english is not my native language either.

I had only answered so briefly because I thought that the terms "clean install" and "dirty install" were clear.

"Dirty install" means that more or less only the system files get replaced. The data folder where the applications store their settings and data will survive. This includes user and system apps. Also all applications that are installed are still present.
=> there's always a chance that those old files will cause problems with the newer release, especially if there's a bigger change like from oneui 5.0 to oneui 5.1

"Clean install" starts from scratch. Pictures/documents on our internal SD card should stay (backup always recommended), user/app settings, including the installed apps however will be gone. So you need some strategy to recover them (either do it manually, let Google backup restore it or use some backup-apps).


That said: in noble telegram channel it has been mentioned, that dirty install is causing app issues for some users, so be prepared for that if you decide to do the dirty install. I'm still on Tropea, but will give it a try soon.
