my ta-1033 is rooted,
after a couple of update notifications lately,
I decided to run the update and see what happens,
well, first of all I was forced to a factory reset first and
to a boot loop afterwards,
anyway, I managed to flash 7.1.1 again and
I've got a couple of questions:
1) is there any way I can dirty flash the 9 update without losing my data?
I wouldn't nevermind having to root again, but I would if I was to lose my data
2) if it isn't, is there a way to totally disable that updater finally?
each and every time I search for this, I find nothing,
I mean, ok, I disabled automatic updates,
but even that full screen message for the update,
without an option to cancel it (other than pressing the back button),
can be annoying
