Every encounter thus far with you has been you attempting to provoke me with me simply replying to the statements you make regarding the phones rather than personal issues. Please do rethink your stance. This should be a pleasant forum experience for all users.

The Lumia 800 is a beautiful device and that polycarbonate, I believe, is the same that spitfire skateboard wheels are made out of so it can take a beating. I can't wait to get mine.

It's common knowledge that you start arguments here. And I wasn't kidding. If you're not proud of it, please stop doing it. As you said, this forum should be a pleasant experience for all of us.

Anyone have a link to a hands on of the Lumia 800?

I'm mobile atm so I tend to pull mobile links but there are numerous. I think the best I've seen was by phones4u.

I don't try to start arguments, I post my opinions, people disagree with my opinion, they get mad. I enjoy a different OS than them, no amount of raging will change that for either party, if they want to argue over it, that's their call.

Alright, thanks. I'll Google it.

I believe your posts are perceived as trolling because you often post contradictory things, saying one thing and then later being completely hypocritical of your previous posts.

Nokia unveils an OLED Phone at the Nokia World that you control by bending:

looking forward to seeing full touch control as well, it's uses are currently fairly limited to pretty much an album viewer. I'd buy that album viewer though xD

The 800 would have been 90% sure my next phone if i were about to upgrade right now, but it's way too soon for that, my GS2 is too new to swap it already. I guess i'll wait for what comes next year: i hope we'll be seeing qualcomm s3 and s4 SOCs on WP7 phones, i'm really looking forward to that.

I think a point Microsoft has made is that the hardware isn't a big deal if you're well optimized. My dell venue pro runs circles around my gs2 and I'm sure the two lumia 800s I have on the way will be even smoother.

The tech journalists the Beeb interviewed at Nokia World 2011 didn't seem to be that impressed with the 800.
I can see the Asha range being much more of a success which is great as it should be enough to secure jobs until those developing markets are ready to move into smartphones and hopefully by then Nokia will have come out with something new.

I am doubting lumia 800's success. I don't want to buy a phone that has old hardware, very old gpu, no NFC, no front camera, only a 3.7 inch screen because I'm gonna be using it for more than a year and technology is moving fast.
Maybe it's because i play games a lot and use the front facing cam that is why i feel that lumia 800 is underwelming.

But I do think that the lumia is perfect for first time smartphone users.

Their new S40 phones/ Asha family will be more of a success.

Actually, the use of a 2nd hand design, and making a loss last quarter suggests financially things at Nokia are really not good :(
funny, HTC has used the same design probably 40 times since the HD2 and no one complained. Also, it's tough to report a gain when you've released nothing and they just switched operating systems.
