  2. Reboot your phone.
  3. Enable "USB debugging" in "Develop options", and connect your phone with your computer.
  4. Setup ADB on your computer according to this post.
  5. Execute the "adb shell cmd overlay enable --user 0 com.ztc1997.overlay.dipper.android.fit_notch" command on your computer.

Thanks for the app! Appreciate you taking interest in fixing this insignificant yet very annoying issue, although Fate/Grand Order (a game) doesn't respect the new size of the notch. In other words, it's possible that this may not cover all of the apps :c

    Thank you for this mod.
I've successfully reported this as a system-bug and was accepted by Xiaomi

They should fix this "glitch" stock soon.

How does one revert and remove this?

I don't really see much difference after implementation.

Why does this app need info about installed apps and run in background?

    1. adb shell cmd overlay disable com.ztc1997.overlay.dipper.android.fit_notch
    2. reboot
    3. then uninstall the apk u just installed in setting menu
