Yep, if you want the benefits of rooting without rooting then you're going to be extremely disappointed. There's a huge market for this type of consumer though, abd the play store is rife with apps that don't require root but don't work either, yet cost money.
If all that stands in your way is rooting your phone and you haven't rooted your phone, why not root your damn phone? It's not exactly rocket science and, therefore, if you choose not to go that simple route, then you're either struggling through life to do very basic things or you don't really give a rat's arse and are just making conversation.
