{NOOB} friendly instruction if ur PC is not Detecting Nx5

Hi Guys here is a {NOOB} Friendly Instructions if ur PC is not detecting our Beloved Nexus 5!:laugh:
1: If ur rooted then:
1:: Install multirom manager
2: Install cm13(CynogenMod 13)
3: Connect ur Nx5 to ur pc when ur running Cm13 it will detect the phone after that remove cm13 and connect ur phone as u normally do!
5: Voila ur PC will detect the Phone!!

Nice to hear the suggestion, but it seems like a great deal of effort and risk just to avoid setting up your PC drivers. Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit has a really helpful walkthrough on driver setups which has worked for me several times on different PCs, and doesn't involve any work on your device.
And if it works for anyone, please donate - it's a superb piece of work that deserves more than just a "thank you"...

Yup ur correct.. But in many cases the toolkit drivers dnt work... So that is why made this thread.. And yes I HV donated 10$ for his work. And yes I also support him.. But that toolkit doesn't work sometimes

Toolkit worked for me on Win8 and 7, but not XP.
Went fully manual and PC detects the phone for MTP connection, but doesn't (appear) when debugging is ON (toolkit recognizes device and ADB works, so, no problem at all)

I'm just saying that people should try tinkering with stuff first before reporting it not working. :'3

Yeah, up to a point, but encouraging people to tinker is also encouraging them to screw up their device and then flooding forums with help requests.

Ohhhh.. Check other forms.. There are people whose Wugfresh didn't work...
