nd how could i know about the rom version of my mobile

Check settings>about phone>custom build version..
If it ends with "xx_MMX_12_flasher_user" then its V1
and if it is "xx_MMX_16_flasher_user" then it is V2.

my rom is v2. yesterday i tried to change statusbar icons through rom manager. but it shows error nd swiched off. i have to reboot in recovery nd restored.
why that happened. also i want to flash xperia rom. should i go for it.

No,you can easily install the custom rom over v2 but must take backup

Dont, charge phone while flashing and follow the instructions of rom flashing included in the thread of ROM.

I am using pure XPERIA ROM, My only problem is When I try to find both IMEI number by entering *#06# the result could be displaying one IMEI, but both the sim and networking are working good. Can I will get the solution?

i tried installing galaxy s4 rom on my canvas 2 plus v2 rom.. and when i lock the screen, dim light keeps showing and after the dim light is off, device needs to be restarted. i reverted back to my stock rom but the problem has continued..
please help!!

after Flashing rom Flash uboot v1 or v3
problem sove ho jayega

*IF ANYONE FACING AFTER PHONE LOCK ,ONLY BLACK SCREEN SHOWING HERE IS METHOD TO SOLVE THIS BUG.

>> LOAD SCATTER OF V1 OR V2 STOCK ROM IN SP FLASH TOOL.

>> CLICK ON DOWNLAOD AND CONNECT UR PHONE TO COMPUTER.

Flash stock rom using sp flash tool,it works even if phone is seriously ****ed up. It's the last option & the best option. After flashing you will have to fix nvram error & imei error.

U flashed stock rom using sp tool..
So ur root access is lost and ur recovery is also stock recovery...
U will have to root ur device n then install cwm or any other custom recovery...
