Hey guys, quick question about restoring an HD7 to the stock ROM via RUU.
Will flashing a ROM found in the Dev section cause any problems with regard to cloud services, push notifications, Genuine Advantage, etc.? From what I've gathered thus far, it seems that each device's specific ID/product key/whatever is actually stored on-board, and is independent of the ROM? I know this is a random question, but I was just thinking about it the other day.
Basically what I'm wanting to know is: does the stock RUU found in the Dev section flash the exact same thing as is flashed in the factory prior to shipping? (Given that there is not HSPL for HD7, I'm assuming it's official, but I'm mainly curious about the WGA/product key/ID fiasco.) If I sent my phone to HTC, asking for a reflash to stock, would they use the exact same tool?
