Hello everybody.

I'm crazy with the reader that carry with original rom of Nook. But the stock rom is not acceptable for me.

Is there anyway to use these applications on my CM10.1 ?

If you're saying you really like the Nook reader on stock and would like to use it with CM10.1, just go to Google Play Store and install the Nook app, which includes the reader.

Yes, you can use the Android app version of the reader, but it does not have all the features that the stock version has. For instance, it cannot read interactive children's books.

Also, the settings vary from the stock reader to the app reader. Hardly a deal breaker though.

I just installed CM10 on my HD+. However, when I go to Gapps and try to install the nook reader app, I get :

**Your device isn't compatible with the versio**

Any idea how to get the nook reader app on CM10?

Get it somewhere else like 1mobile.com or other store. Or take it from another device. It runs fine.

Stock HD+ Reader Issues

leapinlar, my issue with the HD+ stock Nook reader app is that the control of font size is very limited - well, it's great for microscopic up through normal, but then goes from somewhat normal (third largest) to very large (second largest) to billboard text (largest). I need something between third and second largest. I saw your reference to "Go Read" but I'd prefer to stick with the Nook reader software for library syncing etc.

I tried to install Android Nook Reader from the Play store on the 2.1.0 software, but the system won't let me because (I guess) the name of the app is the same as the pre-loaded stock reader, and it says the app is "already loaded".

Do you know any way I can modify the built-in Nook apk to modify the list of available font sizes? Or, any way to modify the Android Nook apk to avoid the Nook name conflict? Not sure that just re-naming the apk file would work. Otherwise, I will move on to try CM10.1 as a dual boot using your file contributions.

Thanks.

Go to my HD/HD+ tips thread linked in my signature and read item 8. Particularly the second paragraph. That is my only suggestion.
