Nook wont register after force reset

I have a rooted nook at 1.0.0. I wanted to update it to 1.0.1 so i can get clockwork so i forced it to reset 8 times and it did. I put on the sideload_update.zip for 1.0.1 and then it udpated just fine but it didnt get to the setup screen where i can register my nook and login to barnes noble. Any way of fixing this

Did you Reg the device before you updated to 1.0.1?

nope it didnt let me..and now im backt o 1.00 and it still wont let me. Everything works except the shop

Hmm well if your Rooted, and used Auto nooter you should have "Nook Color Tools" you can use this to see all the settings, go down to the bottom and click on the 2nd Wireless setting, which will open up the original walk-through setup.

Or simply do a factory reset. Power + n to boot until you see the reset screen.

Backup your media before doing that.
