My guy, I've been doing this since 2008.

My phone actually booted the dynamic system image and hit a DMverity wall. Previously, my phone wouldn't even attempt to install the DSU because because of the bootloader being locked.
Your bootloader is still locked.
The simplest way to check is to boot into fastboot mode and check if it shows "device state-locked" or not.

Enabling OEM unlocking is like showing ID to verify you are an adult but you still need to buy a movie ticket to watch a NC-17 movie.

We are missing the "ticket" (unlock token bin file from oneplus) here.

I just finished arguing with metro employee about porting a google voice number, to get this thing, and come to a grayed out bootloader option. Please put the info in your computer, yes, it will work, assuming your still compliant with fcc regulations since the last time. Thank you. Rant rant, anyway....

The fix is mentioned here https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/metropcs-nord-n10-5g-bootloader-greyed-out.1403286/

Involves general "debloating" method explained here on xda. Disabling specific carrier apps enables the option in development settings. I'm about to do it now, I'm confident it will work I've fixed other restrictions in the same way with Samsung phones and will post specifics soon including adb commands.

DONE!!!
He even puts the commands in a script for us, download the zip from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oneplus-pure-debloat.4157691/
I use Linux, windows should be similar, nothing will break(your not rooted yet) and these will come back anyway since unlocking the bootloader formats data.

extract zip, run commands in the file

7z x Nord_Debloat_Full.zip
bash Nord\ Debloat\ Full.cmd
adb reboot

Find your enabled bootloader option in developer settings, fix it till breaks. HAPPY FLASHING!

Your bootloader is still locked unless you get the unlock token from oneplus and flash it in fastboot.

So I'm having a hard time with that... if the MSM tool, which as I understand it is ROM based on the phone side- can overwrite the entire contents of the phones storage... part of it would include the "lock", wouldn't it?

Said alternatively, from the intl version, rooted and unlocked, after MSM'ing it I have to do the setup once to get "unlock OEM" enabled, then go into fastboot and unlock it (without key, mind you, but it still does the reformat, etc). So MSM re-locks it. Is there storage somewhere else that MSM doesn't touch that identifies it as needing the key, too?

after talking with oneplus they say they do not support MertoPCS N10 5G via unlock page and i have to ask MetroPCS for unlock token MetroPCS says its oneplus that has to supply the unlock token there has been a few user that are getting the same runaround one even filed a complaint with the FCC over it
I was the one who contacted fcc they contacted OnePlus on my behalf haven't heard anything yet. I don't know why it's such an issue for them I've heard people say they have metro n200 unlocked from the page

Just wait until you can unlock your phone via the unlocker app.
I literally just unlocked everything a few minutes ago without messing with my phone.
You have no idea about what bootloader unlock actually is.

Your bootloader is still locked unless you get the unlock token from oneplus and flash it in fastboot.

    Good news:
Oneplus finally escalated my request to higer level manager and my metropcs n10 is now eligible for bootloader unlock token.
I just submitted mine and will wait 7 days to get the unlock token.
