Question Not recieveing ota updates on unlocked s22 ultra from usa

I wanted to know something about samsung s22 ultra's software.....i'll try to keep it short....i got this phone from USA and i live in india. After checking its serial number i found it is a verizon unlocked piece and when i got it here in india its csc code was set to GCF and it was showing no software update after the may 2022....so i changed its csc code to USC and got one ui 5.0 update....now my phone's model name is SM-S908U....and i wanted to know that can i change the firmware from U to U1 and is there any difference between both the models(if significant)....and last question for general knowledge will indian csc code work on this USA model?

I am from bangladesh and facing exactly the same issue. I am actually newbie at this topic. How did you change the CSC? Can you send a photo what the service provider software version looks like right now?

I changed my csc code using samfwrp tool....but if u r using US model then u'll only have options of US supported csc....i tried chnaging it to indian csc INS or IND but it failed

mine is also US. Can I use this tool without backing up my data? will it start to get updates as soon as I change the CSC? which CSC u suggest in this case?

My device came with GCF as csc code and the last update it was showing was of 1st may security patch and i haven't got any update till December on that csc code so i changed my csc code to USC and got alp the updates till January 2023 security patch.....yes u can use this app and its totally safe ur device won't be formatted it will only restart after csc code of ur device changes.....GCF and XAA csc codes are good for variety of netword bands but they get delayed software updates

Am also facing the same problem. Bought fone from ebay (T-mobile variant) got it unlocked but have not got any update since 1May 2022. I am also using it in India.

Is there a step by step guide for this and where will i get the new csc file. Also, will changing csc delete the existing data

Just download the samfwrp tool from google chrome on your pc or laptop and connect your phone with your laptop or pc....in the samfwrp app you will see and option as adb there you'll have change csc option on top right side...just select the csc you wish to change....
And your data will not be wiped after changing your csc....only your phone will restart

I am using T-mobile S22 Ultra in India (unlocked by 3rd party vendor). So i have 2 questions :

1. Which CSC should i change to
2. I hope this will not lock my phone again
