Not showing H+/4G??

k, so tried searching first and nothing showed up.. so figured would ask here..MB

I installed Alien v4. I recently got to thinking after I just got father his Infuse and put new rom on his. We both had H+ showing up as stock.. after I installed his rom his shows 4G which I am sure is still just the H+ and the rom maker set it to show 4G when using + instead of just H.. now on my rom, mine constantly just shows H and 3G if it goes to that mode.. anyone know if Alien v4 "cant" do the hspda+ or is there a way to tell that my H is actually doing the H+? like does the color of the bars matter? i noticed that someitmes the bars are white and sometimes green.. wondering if green is + or just means data is coming through?

Appreciate it and sorry if somewhat noobish question.. i just wanted to make sure that ATT didn't F up my data plan like they did my fathers.. cause if im not getting the data rate i am supposed to be, gonna give them a call

That is part of the alien ROM. I had the same thing happen to me. But when I flashed over a new stockish ROM, the the H+ came back. So I am pretty sure ATT didn't F up your data plan.
