Note 10 DEX on Lapdock

So it seems that the Note 10 works pretty good with the HP Elite X3 Lapdock. Audio is played from the phone, but everything else seems to be fully functional.

Working great here too. I didn't have to do anything special, worked just like it did with my Note9, both the good and the bad.

I've noticed that the Lapdock audio DOES work - but only for phone calls and not for general media though.
Means maybe there's a way to hack it to force output to it somehow.
In the meantime, I've used the USB-C Samsung buds on the USB-C port on the lapdock to listen to music and make calls from - works but may take a couple of goes to activate for some weird reason.

I applied the latest just in case and after a second reboot Dex works fine at the full resolution. Nice solution!

Edit: mouse behaviour needs getting used to but DeX runs very fast. I need to play around a bit more but the HP is a great lapdock solution.

Hello, i have the v8 version of the lapdock and it doesnt work with my note 10 plus.
Everytime i connect it to the lapdock it goes into a reboot loop. I have not seen other users having this problem.

What could be wrong here?

I had the same problem but if you do a hard reset of the lapdock everytime you start it up, ie press and hold the on button for about 7-8 seconds before you connect the note 1 0 plus - it works everytime. I have a exynos 9825 note 10+ 5g version

hello, unfortunately taht solution doesnt work for me the loop continues on snapdragon and the lapdock is the usa version. Is hard to believe there is nothing left to try?
