Installed the most recent Firmware Update for US phones - (I am on att) the score I got soon after flashing is the highest I have gotten on m Note 10 Plus 5G - SD 855+

Not too shabby - :)

Nice. But doesn't the 10+ 5g have the same 855 not the 855+?

That's weird my Verizon Note 10+ 5g I use for work has the same 855 my personal note 10+ has.

Another run on my note 10+
I don't know about Verizon, but I read in another thread that the ATT/Tmobile 5G Note 10 Plus had the 855+ - and while it doesn't say that specifically in the specs, (it just says 855) when you look at the specs, it is 2.96 Ghz while the Regular Note 10 plus is 2.84 GHZ
See comparison below (I checked a CPU ap on my phone and the specs lined up with the 855+.

That's weird. My Verizon 5g is a 855 same as my non 5g. Not like it's holding it back still cracking over 490k+ in antutu on it

That is odd - It doesn't make sense that they would make two varients of the same phone for a different carrier - unless they built the first Note 10 5G for Verizon before the 855+ was availalble or something ? I know that ATT and TMOBILE didn't carry the 5G Varient until a little while after the official launch of the Note 10 - I don't know....but I do know for a fact that this variant that I have is definitely differernt than my Brothers Note 10 Plus - we compared them the other day and his CPU is lower than mine. 2.88 versus 2.96 -

if you install an ap like CPUX or something like it - it will tell you what CPU you have and you can tell for sure from that.

Not a big deal, it just seems strange that T mobile and ATT would have the 855+ while Verizon's Note10 only has the regular 855.

That's what I'm saying.

I'm definitely above a typically 855. But lower then a 855+. I checked cpuz and all that my clocks all match up and everything shows it as a 855. My 5g scores the same as my non 5g. 490k is definitely not low. I'm actually impressed how well it's performing. I tested some other 855 phones I have. A red magic 3. And it's definitely slower only pulling 460k and in 3d mark my score on my notes is definitely higher. But still lower then my ROG2 and RM3S.

I'm not complaining my 10+ and 5g run great. It's just weird. I'm above what a 855 should be. But under a 855+. I'm in the middle lol. And our scores are pretty much the same. I'm running a ton of software on this phone. It was a transfer from another phone. I got about 100gigs worth of games on it lol. So if I did a fresh install no doubt I would be pretty much spot on what you are getting.

What hardware revision are you running? I'm on 1.0

I am also on Hardware Revision 1.0 - On the Ap CPU X - when you first open the ap, in the upper right it says Model, Octa Core 2.96 Ghz Qualcom Technologies - that is how I know it is the 855+ what does your phone say?

855 on that app as well lol. 2.84 tested in a few benchmarks and CPU throttle. Matches up with what gsm area and Samsung says.

CPU score in antutu is 152,000 so I'm definitely high for a 855. Even an 855+ I'm rog2 is only pulling 148,000.

But like I said. Performance Samsung definitely got a lot out of this 855. It's pushing into 855+ territory.

Wow - I am really surprised - but I guess it must have been a timing thing - because Verizon had the exclusive on the Note 10 5G at the original launch, their Note 10 5G came with the standard SD 855 - but when Att and Tmobile released their Note 10 5G's - samsung had changed the Processor and upgraded to the 855+ - (I am just guessing of course, but that is what it looks like what happened.)

Changing the subject slightly - - I saw the Unpacked event for the Samsung S20 Ultra today and I am really excited about getting that phone - I signed up for a pre-order and even though the list price for that phone is high, with the credits and bonuses being included in the pre-order it really isn't as expensive as it seems - AND ATT is offering the S20 Ultra e for about $100 less than everyone else.... Can't wait...
