Here is a video of a strange stutter that is occurring on my Note 10.

To be honest this same thing happened on the Note 9 on one of the firmware.
I was able to stop it from happening by not updating. I never found a real resolution.

Is this happening to anyone else?

It seems to happen only when sending an regular SMS to a non T-Mobile customer.
It can be tested by just texting a random 800 number or someone you know does not have T-Mobile.
I have a factory reset. Tried different versions of the N975U firmware. As soon as RCS is enabled and used this happens.

If you have the T-Mobile Note 10 plus ; Is this happening to you?

OCD much? I believe the easiest solution would be to just ignore it and accept that that's just part of how the program works with the updated version of Samsung messages.

My T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus does the same exact thing. So did my Note 8 and so did my S8.

Its pretty Janky. Also again I have a Note 9 currently on the last version of Oreo that does not do it.
What's interesting about this note 9 oreo version is the fact that also all my contacts that are on T-Mobile and have RCS phones show with a blue dot next to their name and the text messages are in a different shade of blue.
It's clearly a glitch when the messages app switches to SMS or something similar. Perhaps OCD but it's still pretty annoying when typing quickly in a conversation.
Plus when I know it's not supposed to be like that and has seen RCS function without this happening it makes me want to figure out how to fix it.

I do not disagree that it is annoying. I am also OCD. Diagnosed and all. It used to drive me crazy just the same as it does to you but after a while, and several phones, I just accepted that it is how the program works. I have never been able to find a fix no matter how much I looked. I just gave up.

I just always thought this was an android thing. That’s happened on my last 4 android devices. It’s happens on iOS also. You can hear the sound when it sends, it just doesn’t show visually like android.
