Were you able to figure this out? Let me know what the issue was and how you fixed it so I'll have that info if it comes up again with another user!

I am stuck on the part where you are supposed to connect you phone to the PC, looks like the drivers are not installed for the phone. Sys MSM8960 drivers not found. I installed Kies 3 (and did not start it, as suggested on one of the older posts in another thread), and rebooted the PC, inspite of doing that, the drivers still remain in uninstalled status (tried manual lookup in my devices, and it did not work).

My phone is in Limbo right now, with the android bot saying "Downloading... Do not turn off the target!!!

I've not used kies.

Make sure Usb Debugging and Unknown Sourced are checked, and Verify Apps is unchecked.

Did you uninstall all Samsung drivers from your pc first, THEN install the Samsung drivers linked in th OP?

Reread very beginning of OP for all preparatory instructions.

Get back to me after checking all these things.

No OS!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

!!!HELP!!!/
I Dont have a os anymore is there any way i can load a OS or am i just screwed. I was in TWRP 3.71 and i did a data wipe then i walked away for a few minutes only to return and my little nephew had taken my battery cover off and removed the battery. Now all i can do with the phone is booth into stock recovery or download mode. Everytime I try to reboot the phone it restarts but the all I have on the screen is "Samsung GALAXY Note 3" and it just stays like that until I pull the battery. Can anyone help?

Update:

My problem has been solved i just needed to flash the stock JB and then root again another member LeftyGR helped point me in the right direction and i found this link which had all the information i needed to get back up and running again.

Questions...

So, this is what I have: N900V.07 Verizon Note 3 running stock MJE Rooted.

This is what I need for it to work with my Pioneer AppRadio and ARUnchained on 4.4.3:

Fast charge kernel
Rooted
SELinux Permissive
Knox disabled

I don't care about voiding the warranty, but it's my work phone so I need it to be reliable (and not a brick)...lol

So will this work for me?

Yep, the NC2 leak based roms (Beans deodexed stock, BajaROM 14 to name a few) should be what you want.

Here's Beans link on the benefits of NC2

Well, I've tried this twice so far, and each time everything goes well until it reboots after using ODIN to flash n900v_kk_firmware.tar.md5. The phone reboots, I get the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen (Custom), then the screen goes blank. I have to pull the battery to do anything, but I can't even get into recovery. If I try I get a blue REBOOTING INTO RECOVERY at the top, then nothing...another battery pull before buttons will respond. The only thing that I can do is boot into download mode and flash MJE via ODIN. Any Ideas? There seem to be conflicting ideas as to whether a custom 4.3 ROM is needed as a prerequisite. So, that may be the issue. If so, what custom 4.3 ROM should I flash before updating to 4.4?

Beans (the dev that brought us the NC2 leak) says in order to get to NC2 leak, must start with any cust 4.3 rom, and Safestrap 3.65.

I don't know why he says to start with cust rom, but Beans knows 100x more about devving than I do. So what he says, I follow :D

Flash any cust 4.3 rom (like BajaROM)

Follow the update instructions, see what happens :)

Thanks a lot...I appreciate it.
I found links to download the older (4.3) Baja roms, but no real instructions since the entire thread is now supporting Baja 14. Is it a straight flash via SS or are there other steps? It seems to me that you used to have to flash a TAR file as well...now I know why I've steered clear of custom ROMs for this phone...damn Samsung and their locked bootloader and knox...

If you booted into download and still got black screen, you'll probably be better off starting over with MJE in Odin. I'm certainly not the smartest user, but it would likely take less time to start over with MJE, reroot, install SS 3.65, flash cust rom, update to NC2 than to troubleshoot your issues via forum. And you'll know you have a good setup.

ok, I done all this and I am having the same issue. it went all the way thru and had the reset button. I disconnected the phone and it showed the same screen. I get the Samsung screen with the custom writing on it. it will say rebooting recovery. then it goes to a black screen. where can I get this MJE file by chance to flash instead of the MD5.

ya wouldn't help a brother out would ya. lol. im stuck at the same black screen after I get the boot up screen. what file did you happen to flash in ODIN. also did you have to flash the PIT file and check the partition box. mine didn't detect it so I downloaded it and flashed it. I have tried it without it as well. and I still keep getting the same result.

Sorry for the late response...I didn't see your post until just now (0330, my time) lol

I got the 4.3 stock MJE image file from this thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2543386

EASY Steps To Update To MJE: (Factory Stock)
- Download MJE tar file from Beanstown106's Firmware Collection Thread
- Flash MJE tar in Odin (for added safety, REMOVE sdcard) For DETAILED Odin instructions click HERE
- Reboot
- Go To Install Kingo (Google Kingo root 1.1.5 or 1.1.6 download) or Vroot (Google Vroot)

Flashed it via ODIN. I did not need to use the PIT file. This puts your phone back to pure stock. On first boot, I enabled USB Debugging, and "Install from unknown sources" I then re-rooted using VROOT. (I never had any luck with Kingo). I then replaced the Chinese SU app with Chainfires Super SU using this method:

http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2013/11/How-to-Remove-Replace-VRoot-Chinese-superuser-with-SuperSU.html

Then I installed SafeStrap 3.65 Then I restored my backup in SafeStrap. This is where I'm at right now...so that I have a working phone until I can figure out the whole "install a custom 4.3 ROM" thing and try the process to get to 4.4 again. I've been flashing phones and devices since the old days of Windows CE and these new Samsung devices are a major PITA. I've been messing with my Note 3 and my Note 10.1 for the last week trying to achive a fast charge kernel, persistent SELInux permissive and disable knox :(

I have downloaded this MJE file 6 different times from 3 different sources and it names it "ALL_N900VVRUBMJE_N900VVZWMJE_2106277_REV03_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5.7z" when I open ODIN and look for the file, its not finding it. I delete the .7z part and it will recognize it. But it locks ODIN up and says Incomplete BIONARY or something like that. What am I doing wrong here.

Unzip the 7z file, flash the .tar.
