Note 3 ROMs that work on n900p

So after enjoying the note 7 for a couple months I'm back to my note 3.. I refused to take a inferior device so ditched Verizon to come back to the note 3 till something worth while comes out. I was honestly not that impressed with the Note 7 in comparison to speeds. My Note 3 with this Note 5 ROM running is damn near comparable but I definitely will miss the camera. That was about the only thing I will miss.

Hopefully it didn't catch on fire or blow up. Does anyone know if Samsung will continue with the Note models at this point. Might be time to retire at this point with the recall after first battery fix didn't work. They lost a *hit ton of $$

Can anyone recommend a rom that is stable and not buggy? I've flashed several this last week and they seem nice until I find out out what must have features don't work or cannot add or edit apn to get data or lte. Ideally I would like a stockism rom with root, better camera app, better performance, and extra features if they are useful. I need something for daily use.

There isn't one Rom that works perfectly on the Note 3. Take some time and read through all the threads and replies and you'll get a better idea of the issues you can run into. Each rom responds differently on peoples phones. That's the big mystery and excitement with flashing roms. You just never know. Just back up whatever you running and try a few out. It's fun playing around with them and you can always go back to stock. Like many of us who have bricked phones numerous times and went into panic mode you learn to do your research and figure out how to recover using odin.

Having Fun with a pretty stable rom on my Sprint note 3 N900P just search for (Sprint Users Rejoice!! Darklord Modded N5N7 V4) and follow the video to a TEE to install. Data is working.....I have talked and browsed the web at the same time. I can only send mms with textra. Not perfect but it's been my daily for about 2 weeks.

Data is working.....I have talked and browsed the web at the same time. I can only send mms with textra. Not perfect but it's been my daily for about 2 weeks.

I just put Darklord.S7E.G9...XXu1APD3.3 back on this morning. Really is the best Rom I've used on the N900P. I had data right after installing but no network. It's so weird how it responds each time you install. I went back to stock with the Note 3 but Youtube would freeze all the time and notifications were out of control. Also wifi kept turning itself on so I wiped it and put Darklord S7 back on. And of course I flashed MVNOBuzbee after install install. Just have to remember that if someone hangs up on you before you do that your network will be lost and you have to toggle airplane mode to get it back going.

If you can get the aurora roms working, those don't have the hang up fc. I'm using a version related to https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/n2o-emassry266-au-n7-lite-t3505147
I recently figured out that if coming from the ph1 stock rom, I easily fixed my radio issues I was having.
Install Ph1 stock rom, make sure you get a proper LTE signal, go back to recovery, wipe, install custom rom. Some roms are more of a pain than others. Some like to keep the cell settings others do not. In this case, I've been using aurora n7 ported roms since oct with minor, but easily fixable issues except for texting with cell number. Install mvnobuzbee as well.
Get 4g switcher app, enable airplane mode, set radio in app to lte/cdma/gsm, enable radio in app, app crashes, disable airplane mode, then I get an LTE signal. I only have to do that on a reboot.

Flash the kernel, MVNO, and VVM files are separately. Allot of work. Maybe V5 will have it all integrated.
I got everything downloaded and might try after I get everything backed up. Thanks.

Flash the Ph1and recovery in odin and setup your phone like normal. Boot into recovery and wipe ONLY system, cache, dalvik . Wipe everything but Data. Install the Sprint users rejoice rom and kernel. Flash the vvm if you want to. Wipe cache and dalvik one last time and reboot. Everything works fine except stock messaging so use textra. Its not alot of work if you want a working 6.0 MM rom. Ive tried everyone out there and this one works like it should. Watch the video in the Sprint users rejoice rom forum if confused. Dont flash the mvno file unless you lose network completely.

No idea what it does, Aurora's site says something about fixing some issue with its US version. Google did a rough translation. I applied it to my Aurora n7 rom ported by emassry266 in twrp, it rebooted my phone, but I got a signal without doing anything. Rebooted at least 5 times and LTE is still sticking. Still can't text with cell number, though. Someone with the knowledge can take a look at it to see what exactly it does. It has files like lib_sprint.so and android.hardware.telephony.cdma.xml. It also might only work on aurora roms. I did not try it on another port.

Hello all. thanks for the amazing discussion on this thread i read it all. very informative... wish to know what happened to the OP i know he got the Note 7 and its history now after the burn issue XD
i have question please a noob question the OP and you guys all saying the best stable ROM for our devices is the SAC'S... i tried to seach in forum but really there is like 7 links not sure which one you guys talking about exactly.

can someone pls give me the link of this sac's that work perfectly with our N900P version cause am just like you all had network problem with darklord (can't make call) and had data problem with 5 deterrents rom. didn't do the fix that posted in this thread yet. i just got the file but before i try this method with this sprint zip file fix. i want to get the sac's pls

Thank you for your answer. appreciate the help and info. but it actually work now been 2 days after updating and it work like EVERYTHING sms,mms,calls, LTE, 3g everything is actually working thanks to this thread

read it all and this is what i did. flashed Aryamod. (am sure any other good ROM will also work) then flashed the file in the 5th or 6th page the fixed file the dude links the NVMO i think the name of the file that choose the network for you NOT THE ORIGINAL one download the one that the dude linked in the 5th or 6th page he said its the fixed one... then after flashing the rom open the phone then finish the installation then switch off the phone and flash the network file and choose Sprint i didn't have any need to do the APN (actually the APN was and still grayed out for me i can't change anything i even bought a pro version of APN manager and didn't have any use for it cause the phone is actualy working...
in case this didn't work flash the network file first then the ROM file and open the phone finish installation then close and flash the network file again... hope this will help.
the only reason i went for Aryamod cause i like it this method MAY (not sure) work on any other ROM darklord or whatever you like you can try its fun lol

Just happened tocheck this thread as its been a while. I ended up returning my note 7 and went with the LG v20. I'm not In love with it but it's not bad. My note 3 was just getting way to laggy. It's been so long now I'm fuzzy in all the detail but the previous poster sounds like he has a good solution. I do have Sacs rom still I beleive if you want to pm me.
