So can people on the NC2 OTA install and use ROMs made for MLG? Or do developers have to have two versions for MLG and NC2?
Install busybox and safestrap 3.72 and you can install any Kitkat rom in the dev section. Of course, no JB roms can be used.

Congrats to all you guys, Great fathers day present to alot of you I bet! :D

Installed but can't install su user...tries to install binaries and fails
Anyone know why?

Update: I think root worked...can't open su user app bc of the binary issue...but opened titanium backup and su permissions popped up and root was granted

Is this going to allow me to install a custom rom? Or is that still not going to happen?

It doesn't work with MLG I am sure it's a minor fix but probably not worth it for the few dozen phones running that kitkat.

Downgrade to mj5 without root then either use kingo and stay on jellybean or allow the ota and root kitkat with towelroot.

Root checker and titanium backup says I'm rooted but some permissions and access is either restricted or denied...Why is that?

I try and reboot into recovery and access denied and i get that annoying Verizon screen. I use quick reboot to recovery. So I reboot normal. I try Safestrap v3.65 reboot to recovery button does not work. Where am I going wrong?
