Again, with all due respect.
Still waiting for those battery test results.
I told you I wasn't attacking you; I was honestly curious about the battery life of the mega. As I couldn't find anything that backed up your claim and Mad Max has confirmed he did not see that kind of battery life from his Mega, I still have no reason to believe that was your experience.
And as far as Samsung knowingly, remotely bricking rooted devices - I have yet to see any confirmation of this either.
And lastly, whether or not you GAF doesn't really matter; once you post your experience in a public forum, you're inviting yourself up to discussing and/or defnending the issue. Otherwise, perhaps you should consider starting a blog or something where noone can challenge you.
Again, I'm not attacking you - just discussing.
My .02 on why you get the responses to your posts. You come off a little condescending in a lot of your posts. Makes no difference to me one way or another as I just choose to read or ignore them and go on with my business.
By the way, I have the mega also and though it gets great battery life, it still doesn't match my note 3's or even my note 2's for that matter in this area. Love the mega as it is the screen size I wanted for the 3 but oh well..
I have not encountered any of the issues you have described but wish you luck with getting them corrected if you choose to keep using it.
By the way, why would you want to run either the note 3 or the mega at full screen brightness? I have not encountered any situation that would require that, be that in full sunshine or even under direct lighting.
Max out....

Mega,I'm running another battery test as we speak and will post my results at the end, but one question.... why do you think I would make the point of comparison of battery life if I didn't actually get the stated 6 to 7 hours screen tim.... or 24 hrs total time and 5 to 6 screen on at full brightness lol? your response is extra puzzling given you obviously don't own a mega so you can't have any idea or you would know my posted times are pretty much standard across the board for the i9205. But here's a little tuition for ya.... the dual core cpu is b snappy yet extremely efficient on battery life, but the main factor is 720p 1280 x 720 screen resolution on a super clear lcd. Given the fact your not pushing double the pixels across the display matrix means your going to save a vast majority of battery compared to full 1080 resolution. For the same reason that at identical settings the note 2 gets appx 40% greater onscreen time by pushing the same amount of data across half the pixel matrix means your only having to interpolate and display one half the amount of data. Although the case of the mega is slightly different given it runs the newest gen dual core chipset.
I have no reason to bull**** as I don't know anyone on an anonymous site nor do I give a **** what anyone on here thinks. I posted my experience with my 11 flagship devices I have lying around the house in comparison with my new note 3, and my experiences with my note 3 and a few close friends n3s. Period. your mileage may vary.... As these are MY experiences my man take it or leave it I don't really gaf
