Would the N910C version be compatible with N910H? I'm assuming not because it says do not cross flash, but I'm not really sure.

Edit: yeah, I just took time to read everything so that's a no. Are there any PIT files for N910H? I believe my CSC is XEO because I saw that in the recovery menu.

I was wondering..
I came across this Forum group since I was looking for boot problems with my SM-N910T3
I hope flashing pit will resolve this..
I recently started to have some low level issue and was hoping it was partition/boot related and not hardware.

Randomly phone boot directly into Download mode with error;
ddi: mmc_read failed
Often I have to pull battery and hold down /power / home for 10 sec to boot up again.

I didn't see an explanation of the purpose of the pit process ; could someone explain?
I am very familiar with custom roms and kernels, Pit is new to me..

Thanks

Is there a .PIT for the Sprint variant - N910P, I see the T-Mobile partition file but nothing for the Sprint variant. Sprint uses CDMA and T-Mobile is GSM so I am confirming before messing around with the partition layout.

-EDIT, never mind, ignore my post. I found them all on SamMobile, ALL .PIT files are available on SamMobile for ALL variants and ALL versions of the note 4.

I believe it should but to be safe, I would grab a fresh copy of the PIT file from sammobile but get the latest.

thanks for the speedy reply :)
Compared the pit from this thread and the one from sammobile. They're different files.
I asked in the sammobile forum and got this reply from the mod that uploaded the pit files:

"user data is at the end of partition , it's the same pit file for all android versions"

I'll use the pit from sammobile as it was added at a later date.

thanks again

NP! I've found SamMobile to be fairly safe with all aspects from restore TARs to pit files which is why I recommended using them.

Glad it worked for you.

Can someone share latest PIT file for Tmobile Note4 910t please? I can't seem to find the file anywhere. File I found was prior to LP I think, and it is not working..

Hi!
I'm a N910C user and I have COJ5 bootloader which it's locked...
So I have a question... It's possible to trick this bootloader(coj5) by repartitioning process, with corect pit file and corect bootloader to downgrade to another bootloader like COH4 which isn't locked??!
If you have't understood, see a scenario:
We suppose that we have COH4 pit file (which we haven't right now, but maybe with your help we'll have) and right rom file from sammobile.
Next it's only a supposition.... I guess by repartitioning process all partitions are destroyed and remaked from 0. That means also bootloader partition it's destroyed and new one it's created thanks to pit file. So by this process we can downgrade to an older bootloader which it's not locked.... It's possible all this?

Thank you for attention and if it's possible, maybe you also can help us with COH4 pit file.
Thx again!
did you succeed @ozzyboy?
I am searching for a solution to this... if you have tried, can you please share the result?

If you don't mind me asking did you ever find out how to fix your note 4?
Did using the PIT file with Odin work? I have a very similar error when my phone automatically goes into download mode.

That was a dead giveaway before by motherboard went and then I had to replace my device. When it started to boot into download mode, or cannot do normal boot is due to hardware failure.
