I've tried about four different ones, flashing through recovery, and have been unsuccessful with each one. The splash screen is never updated

I'm going to HIGHLY recommend any member here. Please make a back-up prior to flashing anything on your phone!! I've read post that some couldn't get back to the stock boot screen. So do your own homework on the ins and outs for your device!!

Imho I would never change my boot screen to something it wasn't. But but that's just me so carry on.

I'm just here to remind you all to back-up so you don't mess up your phone OK.

For those who want to modify it, open one of the flashables using a zip viewer(you must be using linux[android is linux base]) and then open param.bin as a zip, there's a jpeg called logo.jpg, modify it and repack the two files and flash away.

And I'll be honest I wouldn't flash something to make my phone say it's a note 7 for the look, it's a note 4. I would just go buy one, which I plan on doing soon as they release it!
